Prior to the April 5 opening of the 2025 season for the Statesboro Main Street Farmers Market, community members are invited to come out Saturday for a special cleanup event along the Willie McTell Trail.

According to a release from Visit Statesboro, volunteers are requested to meet at The Market at Visit Statesboro at 10 a.m. before heading out to beautify the trail.

“This is a great opportunity to give back to the community, enjoy the outdoors and make a positive environmental impact,” the release stated.

Bags and gloves will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own reusable gloves and grabbers if they have them.
