The All-4-One Track Club is a non-profit youth program designed to train and motivate young athletes here in Statesboro. They provide a positive atmosphere for youth who want to get in shape for other sports as well as providing a serious outlet for track and field athletes to practice and compete through AAU.
Through the leadership of certified coach Carl Lovett, All-4-One had eight athletes with top finishes in the state and moved on to represent Georgia at the AAU Jr Olympics in the summer of 2016.
This year’s summer season is highlighted thus far by the following athletes at the AAU district competition: Kimmerly Johnson, first place high jump, second place triple jump, third place long jump. Marchanti Mikell, third place 100-meter hurdles, fourth-place long jump. CJ Roberts, second place 1500 meter run, third place 800-meter run. Irelyn Cobb, first place high jump, second place shot put. Ireyana Cobb, third place shot put.
All of the mentioned athletes will be moving on to the Georgia district championship and are heavy favorites to progress to this year’s AAU Jr Olympics to be held at Eastern Michigan University. All-4-One will be holding a fundraiser carwash and sandwich sale on Saturday at Midtown Bar and Grill between Fair Road and Brannen Street.
The car wash begins at 8 am and sandwiches will be sold at 9:30 am.
