GREENSBORO, N.C. —Georgia Southern’s drive for a third-straight Southern Conference softball tournament championship came to an end on Friday afternoon with an 11-2 loss to UNC Greensboro. A five-run second inning opened the door for the loss which eliminated the top-seeded Eagles from the tournament. It was the second loss of the day for the Eagles to UNC Greensboro.
