Freshman quarterback Monteo Garrett enrolled in classes at Georgia Southern on Monday and will join the Eagles on scholarship as a part of the 2014 recruiting class, an official in the athletics department confirmed Tuesday. A senior at Munford High School in 2013 and native of Talladega, Ala., Garrett led the Lions to the Class AAAA playoff semifinals. The team went 12-2 and 7-0 on the way to a Region 5 championship.
