CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Cam Newton will not play Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers while recovering from an automobile crash that left him with two fractures in his lower back. Panthers coach Ron Rivera confirmed Wednesday that Derek Anderson will start and Joe Webb will be his backup. "I won't expose him," Rivera said.
