BA hopes the playoff pieces come together

Bulloch Academy has put together a very solid season on the football field, but the Gators are going to need to keep winning and get a little help to boot if they want to play on into the postseason. With last week’s heartbreaking loss to Trinity Christian School in the final minutes, Bulloch fell into a two-way tie for third place in Region 2-IAAA. The top four finishers in the region will move on to the Georgia Independent School Association playoffs, but the tiebreaking system is likely to put the Gators in a compromising position as the regular season winds down. “We came up a little short against Trinity, and that kind of hurts us looking at the playoff picture,” said BA coach Clint Morgan.
