Claxton High School boys basketball player Labron Glover has been named the Region 3-A (East) Co-Player of the Year in a vote by the region's coaches.
    Glover, a senior point guard, shared the award with Savannah Country Day junior guard Gary McGinty.
    First team selections were James Gunn, Metter; Trent Thomas, Metter; Zenas Moore, Claxton; Milan Richard, Calvary Day; Jaylan Rawls, Bryan County; Hayden Taylor, Savannah Christian and Rico Bonds, Calvary Day.
    Second team selections were Kelsey Wilkerson, Claxton; Quinton Simmons, Metter; Ben Johnson, Savannah Country Day; Jalen Myrick, Savannah Christian; Jordan Walker, Calvary Day and Mychael Smith, Bryan County.
