ATLANTA — Liam Welch threw two touchdown passes to Daniel Lindsay, and Augusta's Aquinas High won its first Georgia state football championship with a 27-7 victory Friday over Savannah's Calvary Day. The win at the Georgia Dome completed a perfect season for Aquinas as the team claims the Class A Private School title. Welch completed 9 of 12 passes for 132 yards.
