BROOKLET — After battling cross-county rival Portal to a 0-0 stalemate in their season opener, the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets got into the win column with a 35-20 victory over Montgomery County last week. The win wasn’t quite the 63-25 dismantling that the Jackets dealt to the Eagles last season, but SEB grabbed a first half lead and had things well in hand throughout the contest. For a team looking to improve off of last year’s 4-6 mark and challenge for a state playoff spot, SEB now heads into its bye week trying to seize the momentum from last week as the region schedule looms ahead.
