One week after a scoreless tie against Southeast Bulloch High, the Portal Panthers will look to build on what they did well as they host the Tattnall County Battle Creek Warriors in the Panthers’ home opener. For the second consecutive week, the Panthers will be taking on a larger AAA school that will have a decided depth advantage over Portal. Despite that, Panthers Head Coach David Nesmith doesn’t expect it to be an excuse.
