RICHMOND HILL — Statesboro High School's boys basketball team defeated Glynn Academy, 55-45, in the Region 2-AAAA tournament Tuesday night.
Tavist Wilson and Zaquavian Smith scored 12 points apiece to lead the Blue Devils (14-12), and Yakeem Coleman added 11 points.
Glynn Academy (12-12) was led by Joshoun Chapman's 17 points.
Statesboro's boys will play Ware County at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Statesboro's girls will play Ware County at 8 p.m. today.
